Manhattan J-Dater Darren Sherman has become a folk hero, or anti-hero, since Lowdown reported his relentless efforts to collect $50 from a young lady who went to dinner with him but didn't respond to his invitation for a second date. Songwriter David Kraut has released a tune, "Do the Right Thing" - a phrase Sherman kept repeating in his voice messages dunning the lady - on his myspace.com page. Meanwhile, the folks over at cafepress.com have manufactured T-shirts, underwear and other items bearing Sherman's other catchphrase: "You ate the food, you drank the wine."
